Aims of the AFMDT
As such, the AFMDT, an association founded by several interim management providers, is committed to the professionalization of interim management in France and thus the structuring of the market.
Its declared aims are :
- to define interim management, clarifying what the term represents – and what not.
- to explain when to use interim management
- to establish standards of professional practice concerning interim management projects as well as the providers’ recruitment of and relations with interim managers.
The AFMDT’s main objective is to bring together all interim management providers adhering to the AFMDT Ethics and Deontology Charter.
As such, the association represents the interests of interim managers in defining a framework for their enrolment and subsequent relations with their providers.

What is interim Management?
Interim management is the temporary assumption of executive roles in order to :

- ensure the continuity of a service provision.
